KINO! 52/53 has been published!

The core of the KINO! 52/53 double issue is the thematic section Resistance!, which follows the idea of resistance at two levels: it primarily considers substantive resistance, the reflection on and the realisation of the different in film; but resistant films are not only films showing resistance but also films financed in guerrilla ways and originating in all sorts of non-institutional frameworks; in addition, film resistance also takes place at the level of form, with film demanding new forms of attention from the audience and dictating new, different interactions with the image… In the other regular sections, the authors also follow ideas of resistance and, in unique ways, establish a dialogue with the topic. It should be stressed that special attention is devoted to Slovenian cinema – both contemporary and historical film breakthroughs…
