The article deals with the different conditions under which Lynch’s “other worlds” open up. In doing so, it attempts to think about these conditions through the basic physical presuppositions concerning the different frequencies of electromagnetic waves or the operation of direct current, as well as the cinematic, meta-cinematic and experimental means employed by Lynch.
