Film Editing Primer I

Through the juxtaposition of Soviet montage theory and French structuralism, the first text in the “Editing as a System” series presents the understanding of editing as a system of interdependent editing elements, which it also defines. In this way, it also presents and concretises the fundamental concepts of film editing.
