In the contribution, select animated film – These Things in My Head – Side A (2018), Hot Dog Hands (2016), Belial’s Dream (2017), Tomorrow I Will Be Dirt (2019) – are analysed in view of obscene corporeality and the passage between desire and the drive. If desire perpetuates the coordinates of fantasy, where the subject reaches for the object that stands in the place of the void, the drive recognizes this void and thus introduces into its object/satisfaction the circling around the void itself, the stuck­ness on a partial object (instead of reaching for the primordial object-Thing). Even though the select animations stress the obscene corporeality, some of them still firmly remain in the coordinates of desire and the reaching for the impossible object.
