The text deals with the television series The Knick (2015). For the last twenty-five years, the hallmark of its creator has been the ability to work continuously and comprehensively within, on the outskirts and outside the entertainment conglomerate in Hollywood, so it seems reasonable to look at The Knick in a somewhat broader perspective, also due to the fact that Steven Soderbergh announced his retirement from the world of film industry a few years ago.
