All That Is Human Will Evaporate
The Alien Capital analyses capitalism from a technological perspective. In this context, capitalism turns out to be a system of self-improving technology that is becoming increasingly independent of human society and the economy. The article focuses on the main line of the author’s argumentation and tries to show that, in some respects, it is premature, especially when it comes to alleged essential changes in the structure of reality, while, in others, it successfully detects some developmental tendencies of capitalism. The text reveals doubts about the author’s thesis that humanity has become redundant and that reality itself has changed so radically that human discourse can no longer grasp it.
