Hana Jušić’s films arouse an abundance of unease with their grotesque situations and characters, realistic or even naturalistic scenes of various human needs or banal tasks, unusual characters and the rough dialogues between them, but the filmmaker put too much affection and love into this rawness for it to repel us or drive us out of the cinema.
