The article focuses on theories that situate the development of contemporary moving images in the context of technology. It attempts to find their points of convergence and think about their strengths and weaknesses. In the academically less strict part, it attempts to show a possible way forward for theory by describing the interaction between a person and a mobile phone. At the same time, it attempts to develop the idea of the duality of the image that has lost its mooring in filmic indexicality.
