With his latest film Mother (Mama, 2016) the author Vlado Škafar continues the path he started with his film Dad (Oče, 2010) and A Gril and a Tree (Deklica in drevo, 2012). The author of the article focuses on the metaphysical dimensions, which are opened with the specific Škafar’s film language and reflects on the intersection of images and words that fuse in a poetical way.
