The fact that there are drafts of plays in the legacy of Srečko Kosovel – for whom theatre was evidently important, as he founded Teater club in the beginning of 1925 – is publicly known from at least 1974’s Alfonz Gspan’s article »The Unknown Srečko Kosovel« in the magazine Prostor in čas, in which he emphasized the time the public had been waiting for Kosovel’s writings, including these early outlines. Even though a majority of his manuscripts are located at NUK (Ms 1385) in Kosovel’s legacy and collected in a special box for years (and some are in other boxes), they have remained unpublished until today – with the exception of a few small notes in Kosovel’s dairies and notebooks.
