In the context of embodiment, the film looks frustrated – it cannot mobilize the body among other bodies in an event space, as its space is dominantly virtual and its “event” strongly mediated. It cannot provoke an (inter)action “in itself”, which a happening is able to achieve. Newsreel Front’s videos show the system’s inhospitality toward refugees and open the question: How do we do a communitarian-potent art? Isn’t the game (in the ludic context) its basis?
